We'll get to know your child individually 
Whatever stage your child is at, we’re able to provide you with additional English and Maths tuition that can really make a significant difference. All of our sessions are personalised which allows us to support children of all abilities – whether gifted and talented or simply looking for a confidence boost.
Our sessions are taught either in small groups (up to 6 children) or on a 1:1 basis. All of the children will be provided with the appropriate stationary and exercise books from the start. For children looking to take the 11 plus, there will be the need to purchase a selection of textbooks which will support our sessions.

What we have to offer!

Primary Boosters-Children in Years 3 to 6
These sessions are specifically for children looking to increase their confidence across reading, writing, SPaG and maths. It could be that your child is of age-related expectations but would benefit from revisiting certain parts of the curriculum or if your child is finding a particular area challenging and is therefore needing to 'catch up'.  If you'd like us to focus on just one or on a combination of those key areas, then we can work with you to provide the best possible support for your child. 

Pre 11+ for Year 4
If you're wanting to get 'ahead of the game' then these sessions would be of huge benefits. These sessions are a perfect way to see if the 11+ is right for your child. Our Pre 11+ provision provide our Year 4 children with the challenge that they may lack in school. They will be exposed to brand new concepts across both English and Maths which gives them a real advantage over their peers.

11 + Tuition for Year 5 
These sessions are designed to best prepare children for the 11+ papers. We will endevour to boost confidence whether it be in exam technique or with challenging new concepts to embed. This is a year long journey where each session is a building block to stand you in good stead for your future.


Our Pricing
If 1:1 tuition is what you're after, then look no further. Our team at MC² specialise in delivering individual, tailored provision.
1:1 tuition sessions  are charged at £25 per hour - We do offer a 'taster' session to see if we're the right fit for your child.

Our groups sessions are designed to allow the children to be active and collaborative with their learning. We are able to accommodate groups of up to six children and believe our small group sizes ensure that our provision is of high quality to boost confidence and accelerate progress.  
Group session prices are charged at £18 per hour.
 Our Staff
My name is Zack Cuzner and I am a passionate private tutor based in Plymouth. I graduated with a BEd (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of St Mark & St John and have since held a variety of positions in schools across the city.  For the past five years, I worked as a Year 5 teacher and PE lead in a large Plymouth school. I still spend some of my time supporting many schools in the city in a range of capacities. 

Away from schools and tuition, I enjoy my role as a 'Grassroots' football coach. I have been involved with local, junior football for the best part of twenty years and have held an FA Coaches' license for 4 years. It's quite likely that you would have seen me on a wet and windy touchline at some point if you to are involved in the game.
